Department of English

The Department of English at The Government Sadiq College Women University, Bahawalpur, is committed to provide an excellent academic education. It aims to equip its students with the necessary linguistic, literary, research, educational, and IT skills to fulfill the learning needs of the students. The department aims to cater to the time-tested need and interests of learners to opt for English Language and Literature. It follows a policy of continuous self-evaluation to adapt itself as per the changing needs of the society of Pakistan. So far, this department has produced a number of graduates prepared with all the state of the art skills whereby they are serving the nation in a variety of ways. The programs currently offered by the department are BS English (four years degree program) and Post ADP program (two years degree program).
